Today’s winner is Joe Lieberman standing up for principles at a press conference and promising to filibuster the senate if a bill presented that has a public option.
The loser today is Barney Frank of Massachusettes for his statements during a MSNBC interview for saying that republicans are benefiting for there own incompetence because and increasing number of people don’t want government expansion. Frank had this to say “The right wing took control of the government and ruined it…”

In this Edition of the Lightning Round Fred and Jeri talk about; Obama’s enemies list, North Dakota being the only state that hasn’t lost jobs, MSNBC interview with Florida Representative Alan Grayson, Obama’s excessive fund raising, and Obama’s plan in Afghanistan.

Today’s winner is Justine Faeth for out smarting career criminal investigators using what she had observed on Law and Order SVU.
Today’s loser is former Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean because of an MSNBC interview on the Rachael Maddow Show where he made remarks about how being against the administration was the same as undermining the country.

Today’s Winners are; is the Prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, for standing firmly in his defense of his country.
Today’s Losers are; MSNBC for running reruns instead of covering relevant issues, and Frank Schaffer, of the Huffington Post, for stating the real lesson from Iran is that conservative Christians are dangerous and should never have power. Other Losers for today are the Senate Democrats for thinking they could slide through Obama’s health care plan by end of summer without considering how to pay for it
Lightning Round 6/18/09
Today’s lightning round Fred discusses how the Iranian protesters are using twitter to release information about what is happening in the country. The white house released a statement saying that global warming is causing glacier melting, high rain fall, and a rise in temperature, Fred calls it spring. The white house denied a request for a list of white house visitors by MSNBC, so much for transparency. He also hits government waste on the 3.4 million dollars of the stimulus going to a turtle tunnel. His final comment for today’s lightning round was about Iran’s president Ahmajenidad’s visit to Russia.
